Simple belt made of thick cowhide leather with a brass buckle and strap end. A simple line on the sides of the belt is a relatively common method of decoration, specific finds are e.g. in Schleswig, Germany (Schnack 1998)
According to the manufacturer of the fittings, this combination of buckle and strap end can be dated between 1250 and 1400. The buckle is based on a find from England (Buckles, R. Whitehead)
The belt has no holes, if you want us to make them for you send us a request in the order.
